Two ways to work with us

Brighter Minds Tuition offers small group and 1:1 online tuition for primary students, led by Talia Adanna, an experienced tutor and published children's author. Every session is designed to build confidence and knowledge, ensuring your child can enjoy and progress in their learning while reaching their targets.

1:1 tuition

Personalised weekly sessions tailored to your child's individual learning style, online and one to one with Talia.

  • You are sent a short progress report after each lesson
  • Reading, writing and maths
  • Phonics and early comprehension
  • Confidence before SATs and assessments

Small group sessions

Up to five children at a similar stage. Children can engage in classroom discussion and build confidence through targeted learning at a lower cost.

  • Grouped by ability, not just year
  • Plenty of opportunities for discussion, reading and problem solving
  • A maximum of five children in a class

Tell Talia where your child is, what the school has flagged, and what you want them to feel more confident about. She will tell you honestly whether tuition is the right answer.

First lesson

The first lesson is spent assessing where your child is at in their learning, and what needs to be done to push them to their highest potential.

Weekly sessions and updates

Regular online lessons at a set time, with a weekly progress report after each one telling you what was covered, what went well, and what to practise.

Brighter Minds grew out of a simple observation. Children who dread a worksheet will happily spend twenty minutes arguing about what a character should do next. So the stories came first, and the curriculum was built on top of them.
